Human Resources Associate - Client Services & Labour Relations
This is a term position for up to twelve (12) months.
As the HR Associate for Client Services & Labour Relations, you are a client-facing generalist who works collaboratively with many levels of leadership at the City within an assigned client portfolio. You will be the first point of contact for all client needs and will be responsible for day-to-day HR service delivery, such as recruitment, labour relations, employee relations, and providing general advice and guidance to leaders.
You will also be responsible for developing strong relationships and building an in-depth knowledge of the client’s business through proactive contact with the respective management teams. As the HR Associate, you will help to communicate client needs and priorities to other HR branches to support the on-going development of Corporate HR programs.
As the successful candidate, you will have a minimum of two years’ experience in labour relations and recruitment in addition to a post-secondary education in business or human resources. You exhibit solid communication and relationship building skills and have excellent problem solving, organizational and time management skills. You have a strong ability to research, analyze information and make recommendations. You are a team player and have a positive, can-do attitude.
